2008 Pumpkin Fest
Last weekend Denver Botanic Gardens hosted the annual Pumpkin Festival. Sure, it was 45 degrees, misting and pretty muddy, but that only added to the autumnal charm of the event. I know, I know….pretty “optimistic” view but a quick look at some of the pictures and you can see that many of the over 16,000 pumpkins in the 7 acre field were selected by ghosts and goblins from all over the Denver area.
A special thank you goes out to the almost 500 volunteers that made this event possible. We appreciate your dedication to making this the best Fall experience in Denver. Thank you to all who attended as well. We look forward to seeing you next year!
The pumpkin patch is still open every day from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. until the end of October so if you still need to find the perfect pumpkin for your mantel or front porch, c’mon down and see us! Happy Halloween.
