A Year of Blogging Leads Passion to Action

It has been nearly a year that this blog has been up.  Last February, Celia shared her thoughts about sustainability as the very first foray into the Blogosphere.

Well, she has not stopped tackling the subject.  On February 12, the 2009 Passion to Action Sustainable Landscaping Symposium tackles “Muddy Waters – Who Owns the Rain?”  This event is the second in what looks like an annual series.  I think it would be fair to say that Celia has been working on this symposium for the whole time this blog has been up!

And she hasn’t been doing it alone: the Front Range Sustainable Landscaping Coalition has donated their time and effort to this event and many of the same.  If you examine their website you will see their recommendations for Sustainable Landscaping Principles for Colorado available as a free resource to everyone.

Last year, I remember a great energy from the audience and a mild squeeze to fit everyone in the room.  We already have more registrants that we did last year, so if you are interested, register now!  (It is also less expensive to register in advance.)

I know the frequency of my own blog entries have risen and fallen with the tides of other activities on my plate.  But I’m astounded to realize that it has only been a year, pleased to share the blog space with Celia and many others, and eager to experience the new growth ahead!  This year, I plan to enjoy as many Gardens experiences as I can.
