Nymphaea ‘Stan Skinger’ waterlily

With a multitude of exquisite apricot-colored flowers, Nymphaea ‘Stan Skinger’ (hybridizer: Florida Aquatic Nurseries) is a super Rocky Mountain Legacy Collection (RMLC) tropical waterlily, displayed dramatically in the Romantic Gardens pool. The gorgeous, egg-shaped mottled leaves darken in Denver’s semi-arid mile-high climate.

    Mr. Tomocik just dropped off some great handouts at the Information Desk at the Gardens, including a map of tropical waterlily locations and descriptions of where you can find other water garden treasures, like lotuses and hardy varieties. He emphasized that the water gardens will be blooming for just another few weeks — stop by the Information Desk for these materials soon and take your own personal tour!
